It was about a month ago that krion pointed out that when a port moves from one category to another, your watch list is left with the old port and it ignores the new port. For more details on this problem, please read my first post on this subject.

I’ve coded up an initial solution for this situation. But for you to test it, you need something on your watch list that has MOVED from one category to another (for example). Have a look at /usr/ports/MOVED and pick something. Then broswe to the old port. Add it to your watch list. Then look at your watch list in the BETA website. You should see something like this:


Some of your watched ports have moved. You are still watching the old ports.

Old Port Replaced by
databases/pecl-hash security/pecl-hash

You should visit the Replaced By link first, add that port to your watch list, then
visit the Old Port link and remove it from your watch list.


Please try it and report any problems.
